ISS Program

Innovative Steps’ ISS Program provides structured, community-based support focused on independence, social connection, and personal growth. Participants engage in skill-building activities, recreational outings, and volunteer opportunities tailored to individual goals and abilities.

What is ISS

ISS is a structured day program designed to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through community involvement, life skills development, and social enrichment. Services are individualized to support personal goals, routines, and preferred activities while promoting independence and confidence.

Personal Assistance Services and Habilitation support for daily living tasks, community integration, and skill-building.

Who can join the ISS Program?
Adults with IDD who are appropriate for a structured day program. Eligibility and enrollment depend on the individual’s needs, funding/source of services, and program capacity.
What does a typical day include?
A mix of life skills training, social activities, recreation, community outings, and optional volunteer/vocational exploration based on individual goals.
What should participants bring each day?
Lunch (if not provided), any required personal items, and a positive attitude. We’ll share a recommended checklist during intake.
